Terms of Use

Compass Vitals is a bilingual telehealth platform serving Vietnamese-American communities. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to the Compass Vitals website, the Compass 24/7 mobile app and web app, and related services (the "Services"), provided by Compass Vitals LLC ("Compass Vitals," "we," "our," "us").

You must be at least 18 years old to use Compass 24/7. By registering for or using the Services, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and the consent document you sign at registration. If you register on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization.

The Compass Vitals platform supports telehealth services in Vietnamese and English. Not every service is offered in every product. The Compass 24/7 app provides the service described in section 04 only.

The Services do not replace emergency care. If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.

What the service is. Compass 24/7 provides remote consultations for acute (short-term) health concerns. You describe your symptoms to an AI assistant by text chat or by voice; the assistant asks follow-up questions. Licensed physicians then review your case and decide what happens next. Depending on their judgment, they may prescribe a medication and send it to the pharmacy you choose, order lab tests or imaging, ask you to monitor your symptoms at home, or refer you to in-person or specialist care.

Who reviews your case. Each case is first reviewed by a physician located in Vietnam and then approved by a physician licensed in the United States, as described in the consent you sign at registration.

The AI assistant. The AI assistant helps collect information and draft proposals for physicians. It does not make diagnoses or treatment decisions; your physician does.

Eligibility. The service is available to adults 18 and older whose state of residence is a U.S. state that Compass 24/7 serves.

Controlled substances. Compass 24/7 does not prescribe controlled substances (for example opioid pain medications, stimulants, or benzodiazepines). This is a permanent limitation of the service. If your condition may require such a medication, you will be referred to an in-person provider.

Free trial. Each account may start one 14-day free trial of the Compass 24/7 service, in the app or on the website. No payment card is required and you are not charged. The trial ends automatically; to continue, purchase a membership on the website.

Membership and billing.

• •Memberships are purchased on the Compass 24/7 website at app.compassvitals.com. The mobile app gives you access to your account and does not sell memberships.
• •The Compass 24/7 membership is a monthly fee for the Compass 24/7 service. The price is shown before you pay.
• •The membership renews automatically each month using your saved card until you cancel.
• •You can cancel at any time on the website under Settings → My services. Cancellation turns off automatic renewal; you keep access until the end of the current billing period, and fees already paid are not refunded, except where the law requires a refund.
• •The membership covers the Compass 24/7 service only. Medications, lab tests, and imaging are paid separately to the pharmacy, laboratory, or imaging provider.

Your account. You can delete your account in the app under Settings → Delete account. See our Privacy Policy for what is retained by law.

You agree to provide accurate and complete health information and to keep your sign-in credentials secure. You may not provide false information, violate any law, infringe the rights of others, distribute malware, or attempt unauthorized access to our systems. You understand that recommendations are based on the information you provide and do not replace an in-person clinical examination.

We protect your information as described in our Privacy Policy, including encryption in transit, role-based access controls, and audit logging. We will never sell your health data. You authorize us to collect and use your data for care delivery and quality improvement as described in the Privacy Policy.

Text messages from Compass Vitals are governed by our SMS Terms. Consent to receive text messages is collected separately and is not a condition of using this website or receiving healthcare services. You can reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them. How we handle your mobile number is described in the SMS section of our Privacy Policy.

All content, trademarks, logos, and software on compassvitals.com and in the Compass 24/7 app are owned by Compass Vitals LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without our prior written permission.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. The Services do not replace professional medical judgment; call 911 in an emergency.

Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Compass Vitals, the physicians who provide care through the Services, and our staff and service providers from claims arising from your violation of these Terms or of the law, or from your misuse of the Services.

Governing law and dispute resolution. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court.

Termination. We may suspend or end your access if you do not pay membership fees, violate these Terms, misuse the Services, or if the law requires it. Where possible, we will notify you in advance. You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. Records we must keep by law are retained as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will update the "Last Updated" date and notify you by email or in the app. Continued use after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you may stop using the Services and cancel your membership.
